This 10 days Uganda Safari is can either be done by road or air. It takes you to the best safari parks in Uganda; Bwindi Impenetrable national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Kibale Primates forest, Murchison Falls national park. This Uganda safari starts with Bwindi Gorilla Forest for a gorilla safari, Queen Elizabeth National for a wildlife safari, Kibale Forest for a chimpanzee trek and Murchison Falls National Park for a game viewing safari. This safari ends with a tour to the adventure capital of Uganda and a tour of the Kampala Heritage sites. Safari activities include gorilla tracking, game drives, chimp tracking, and game viewing.

Day 1: Entebbe – Accommodation

Depending on when your flight will leave you home today, board your flight to Uganda to arrive Entebbe: You will be met by Ababa Uganda safaris representative waiting for your arrival at the Airport, who will then transfer you to your Hotel of Choice either in Entebbe town or Kampala capital city.

Day 2: Kampala City – Bwindi Impenetrable National park

(Approximated time is 9-10hrs. The accommodation here is optional depending on the availability of the permits in the areas where gorillas are tracked) After your breakfast at your place of stay, begin panoramic Safari drive south-words to Bwindi Gorilla Park, en-route stopovers will be made as there interesting things to see along the route.

Some of them include: the Mbabire drum making market, the Equator where you will stop for pictures and if you are interested in Souvenirs then its the best place to buy some thing, continue to Mbarara town/ city for your Lunch break which shall be served at Agip Motel. After drive to Bwindi National park arriving late in the evening to your hotel of choice, check in then dinner and overnight.

Optional traveling to Bwindi National Park is by Air at an extra Ticket cost with scheduled domestic flights from Entebbe either in the morning or in the afternoon. You therefor miss all the interesting places mentioned on today’s program when travel by flying, shorter but missing a lot ( Approximated flight Time: 2hrs)

Day 3: Bwindi gorilla trekking

Morning Activity: Incase you need a wake up call for this day then you need to inform the hotel attendants before your go to sleep, However at 07:15am you shall be served with your breakfast, then be guided by your driver guide who will lead you for registration to verify the information on your passports before the briefing time, then proceed to the ground to get the briefed at 8.00am before entry to the forest for gorilla trekking adventure depending on which group of gorillas your permit is having.

Afternoon activity: In the afternoon if you are are still strong enough and depending on the weather, there will be guided village walk to learn how the communities around the Bwindi National Park are benefiting from the tourism of the area; this is an ideal short walk that will bring you back to your hotel of choice for dinner and overnight later.

optional Activities this day in the afternoon can include, a forest walk and water falls in Bwindi Forest, or Birding watching safari till sun set, or a bicycle riding to the villages to stretch yourself.

Day 4: Bwindi National park – Queen Elizabeth National

After breakfast at 7:00am leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Northern Sector of Mweya peninsular, while a chance come on your way, try out a short game drive at the Ishasha sector of the climbing lions (optional) if you are lucky you might see some of these cats resting on the branches of this beautiful fig trees. If you have your packed lunch enjoy it while having good fresh air come from open Savannah grassland, before you continue with your drive that will eventually bring the end of the journey when you arrive to the Mweya peninsular to check – in your hotel / lodge of choice before an evening game drive that will crown this day with dinner and over night.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National

Morning activity: Early at 6:00am, your guide will drive you for a game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth NP, with thousands of Ugandan Kobs, lions, elephants, Hippopotamus, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena and many more. Also on the program is a two hours launch trip at 2:00PM after you lunch to the Kazinga channel where you will see most of the animals and birds near the channel taking water. In the evening we will go on a late evening game drive to the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs, chance to see some wildcats hunting. The day ends with a return to your hotel/lodge for overnight.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National – Kibale Forest National Park

Drive out of Queen Elizabeth National park from your lodge to near Kibale forest National Park the morning via Kasese town while enjoying the good views of Mountain Rwenzori (Mountain Rwenzori is the highest mountain in Uganda with an altitude of 5109 m also known as Mountains of the Moon), arrive for lunch at the Garden Restaurant, this afternoon you will be guided to the caves and craters of “amabere Nyinamwiru” for Nature walk then if you hotel is Fort Portal you will stay here or in the National park of Kibale forest for dinner and overnight which shall be served at your hotel of choice.

Day 7: Kibale National Park

Early morning at 07:15am (if you are to stay in Fort portal town then breakfast is at 06:00am) you will have breakfast then leave to Kibale forest National Park headquarters for briefing before you enter in this beautiful forest for chimpanzee tracking including other primates like the L’hoestes, Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed monkey and grey cheeked Mangabey swinging through the dense forest and several bird species, butterflies and many small insects, can be seen before you return back for lunch. An opportunity to reach Biggodi for a swamp walk the area is run by the community as away to preserve and save animals in the Kibale forest from being poached, later return to your hotel / lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park – Murchison Falls National Park

Today is and exciting drive along the Albertine Rift Valley and from either Fort Portal or kibale forest on the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon: ( Kibale Forest -Murchison falls NP. (Fortportal town) 379km, drive time 8hrs without stopovers) after breakfast drive from Kibale forest or Fort portal heading North-west via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima town and reach to the colorful Savanah surroundings of Murchison falls National park, before arriving the park you will have lunch in Hoima Town. Later proceed to your hotel to checking then, dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Murchison Falls National Park

Morning activity: Wake up to the amazing sounds of birds in the air and animals open air, which will bring you to the realization that you are at the mighty Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy your breakfast while experiencing this early morning sun rise before you are driven for a game drive at 6:30AM. Some of the animals you will see today include: Giraffe, elephant, lion, buffalo, crocodile and countless antelope and birds of different species that can be seen at close range. A binocular is added advantage during the game drive. Lunch will be served at your hotel/ lodge.

Afternoon activity: Your guide pick you and transfer you at 1:45pm to take a boat cruise that will last 2 – 3 hours ride to the bottom of Murchison falls, the cruise will enable you see many animals and birds species at close range, a return will be relaxing, swimming at the lodges pool, dinner and overnight.

Optional afternoon activity if you are have interest, is to agree with your guide to take a hike to the top of the falls. Your guide will drive with a car and pick you up from the top of the falls. Please notify the Boat captain that you are hiking to the top so you are not left to return on boat. inquire for an additional rate.

Day 10: Murchison Falls National Park – Kampala

This day will mark the end of your safari with a drive out of Murchison falls national park after your breakfast at 07:00am, return back to Kampala or Entebbe depending on where your accommodation is located, otherwise transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home. (If have interest for Rhinos, an opportunity to visit at extra price to the Rhino sanctuary as you return en-route to Kampala, we will be please to include this on the program) End of the safari in Uganda.


1. Transport in a safari built 4x4 Landcruiser or a minibus with a top-up roof for photographing / flying option also available.
2. Meet and Greet service by our local representatives at the airport.
3. Roundtrip transfers airport / hotel.
4. Accommodation and Meals as indicated above.
5. 1-litre bottled mineral water per person per day whilst on safari.
6. Services of a professional English speaking driver guide.
7. Game drives, Accommodation, sightseeing and excursions as described in the itinerary.
8. Applicable local and government taxes on accommodation and transportation.
9. Temporary membership to Emergency Medical Evacuation Service whilst on safari.
