Day 01 Visit Wilpattu National Park

Welcome to Sri Lanka. You will be met and greeted at the airport by our representative. You will then be taken to the Wilpattu National Park on a 3 hour drive: one of the oldest parks in Sri Lanka. This unique existence take you to a destination full of nature and wildlife. Let the excitement in you be driven by an unexpected realty. While exploring the leopard population, you also get the freedom to experience an amazing climate with variety of fauna, flora, birds and reptiles as well as many other rarely seen wild animals.
Later you will be transferred to Safari transit hotel to rest and relax readying for an exciting tomorrow.

Day 02 Visit Avukana Buddha Statue

After breakfast you will then be taken to Kekirawa to visit the Aukana Buddha statue. The statue which is 40 ft tall is a carved construction from the 5th Century. The stone sculpture is one of the best resemblance of the standing Buddha. The Statue has been influenced by Gadhara and Amarawati schools of art in India which were considered as two of the most popular art schools at the time. The statue is constructed out of large granite and was constructed by the great king Dhatusena. Have an amazing time learning about the history of the statue.

Day 03 Ancient Writing on Rock Polonnaruwa

After breakfast, you will be taken to climb the Sigiriya rock which is an archeological site. The very famous Sigiriya has an ancient tale to narrate. The visitors from around the world get attracted to this miraculous Lions rock which narrates a legend to all. King Kassapa who fled from the guilt of killing his own father selected this site to make the illusions of a magical land come true. He Made Sigiriya one of the magical lands with the rock palace which is known as the “Lion Rock” or Sigiriya. The palace consisted charming and popular frescoes. Mirror wall, boulder and terrace gardens. It is also believed that this site used to cherish during his reign. He spent most of his late time alone on the terrace garden mourning about his father’s death with guilt. Visitors of Sigiriya have the opportunity to enjoy the view of the moat, pools in the garden complex, fountain gardens, man made shelter with brick walls, ruins of the lions mouth, remains of the indent in the rock, terrace below the mirror wall and summit ruins. Later, proceed to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa which was declared by King Vijayabahu. The ancient city lets you witness the ruins and temples with the exposing Buddhist culture

Day 04 Visit Dambulla Cave Temple

After breakfast prepare to enjoy the day at some exciting places of interest. Dambulla is one of the most popular heritages places in Sri Lanka and lets all its visitors to learn its tempting history along with letting them visit the five exquisite caves of ‘The cave of Lord of the Gods’, ‘Cave of great kings’, ‘Cave of great new temple’, ‘Cave of western temple’, and ‘the cave of second new temple’ all which possess various ancient paintings of Lord Buddha (157 images within caves). The in house cave designs and painting s spread over the walls and the ceilings of the caves. Next you will be taken to visit the world renowned spice garden in Matale. Experience this rare opportunity to witness a spice garden with vital herbs as Margosa, Sandalwood, Almond, Coconut and many more along with how first hand cloves, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and saffron are grown in their natural surrounding. We will then take you to the final destination for the day; Kandy. The city of Kandy has been historic and forever popular. The Golden city narrates story with its’ influences by culture, history, religion, politics and natural beauty. This Hill country beauty along with the Temple of Tooth Relic is a must to see.

Day 05 Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

After breakfast, prepare for a thrilling and an exciting day out. As you are in Kandy, one of the most popular, heritages and spontaneous cities in the world feel relaxed and calmed. You will be visiting the Temple of the Tooth Relic where the remains of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha is deposited. The temple is believed to be very powerful and exposes the Sri Lankan culture and religious expectations at its best. Next will be a visit to the Royal botanical gardens in Peradeniya. With a proud and a long history, the garden presents you with all types of endemic and non- endemic flowers and plants. Broaden your understanding about various plants, herbs and flowers at leisure. This garden would be an ideal place to relax a bit with your friends and family for a while amongst the most beautiful flowers. On your way back, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and get the opportunity to spend some quality time with the orphan elephants. At the orphanage you can witness how these orphan baby elephants are brought up. Take your chance to feed them and milk them with bottles and even take a turn to bathe them at the river. These baby elephants will have no greater pleasure than being at your care. Feel relieved, relaxed and contented at the end of the day.

Day 06 Visit Horton Plains National Park

Get ready for a refreshing and an energetic day. You will be taken to see the Hortan plains national park. Let out the adventurer in you. The Hortan plains national park is undoubtedly one of Sri Lanka’s best nature reserves with a best Eco tourist environment. Discover the forest hidden in the hill top, the mind blowing landscapes and wild mammals as deer, squirrels, wild bore, wild hare, porcupine, leopards and various bird and flora varieties. Enjoy a turn of trekking and nature trails at the hills. Enjoy the excitement and the thrill while enjoying to a most.

Day 7 Visit Little Adam’s Peak

Enjoy your breakfast and prepare to proceed to Ella to visit the Little Adam’s Peak with a height of 1141 M. The most amazing place is a genuine place of interest. Many tourists get attracted to this panoramic view. Walk through the paddy fields admiring the beautiful waterfalls and tea plantations. Capture these unforgettable memories where you can enjoy a recap of it when you return home..

Day 08 – 11 Relax in Hikkaduwa or Unawatuna

Enjoy 03 nights of relaxation at Hikkaduwa or Unawautuna beaches. Enjoy beach games as beach volleyball, jet skiing, skiing, diving, snorkeling and swimming anytime you feel like. You will be transferred to the airport on your last day.
