Explore and tour Matusadano National Park with our 05 days safari. The park has huge elephant populations that you will come across as well as the being one of the last remaining sanctuaries of the endangered Black Rhino. Other common species include the night ape, honey badger, civet, small spotted genet, slender mongoose, banded mongoose, spotted hyena, wild cat, lion, leopard, yellow spotted dassie, black rhinoceros, zebra, warthog, common duiker, grysbok, klipspringer, waterbuck, bushbuck, scrub hare, porcupine, vervet monkey, baboon, side-striped jackal, hippopotamus, antelope, kudu and bush squirrel. Some of the more elusive species include: clawless otter, white-tailed mongoose, reedbuck, sable antelope, eland, civet, rusty spotted genet, caracal and bush pig.

Day 1: Arrival – Harare International Airport

Upon arrival into Harare International Airport, you will be met by a representative who will assist you in catching your schedules light aircraft transfer to your camp.

Day 2: Matusadona National Park In the morning, you will be able to enjoy the spectacular view of the Zambezi River and Victoria Falls after which you will be transferred to the preferred camp’s airstrip for your scheduled light aircraft transfer to Matusadona National Park. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your accommodation on the shores of Lake Kariba which offers the unique experience of combined Game & Fishing safaris.

Day 3: Fishing Excursion in Matusadona National Park

After breakfast you will enjoy a boat ride at Lake Kariba. Fishing in Matusadona is quite an experience and if you are up for it go head on with Kariba’s famous tigerfish with the help of a fishing guide.

You will have the opportunity to go on a birding safari where you will spot many local species like the Collared Palm-Thrush, Racket-tailed Roller, Purple-banded Sunbird and Black-throated Wattle-Eyes.

Day 4: Full day at Matusadona National Park

Day 5: Matusadona National Park and Transfer to Harare

You will enjoy an early morning game drive in the park, return to your lodge for breakfast, return transfer by boat to the airstrip for your flight to Harare International Airport to catch your return flight back home.

5. 1-litre bottled mineral water per person per day whilst on safari.
6. Transportation by specially equipped 4x4 safari built landcruiser.
7. Services of a professional English speaking driver/guide.
8. Game drives, sightseeing and excursions as described in the itinerary, inclusive of applicable entrance fees.
9. Applicable local and government taxes on accommodation and transportation.
10. Temporary membership to Emergency Medical Evacuation Service whilst on safari.

6. Any optional tours or excursions not mentioned in the itinerary.
7. All Bank transfer fees while making the payments at USD 50 .00 Nett per transaction.
